LANGKAWI NATURE PARK
The Heart of Langkawi Geopark– December 22, 2023 –
We Are Open, Again. Following a global pause due to the Pandemic, Langkawi Nature Park has reopened once more on December 22, 2023, with access to 50 acres of flora and fauna.
Mangrove Walk
Centerpiece to the Park is a 35-acre mangrove forest reserve. This section features an elevated boardwalk of 800m that stretches from the edge of our zoological park, down the middle of the mangrove forest towards a scenic point along the Kilim River. A variety of naturally occuring wildlife--includng eagles, kingfishers, primates and sealife--may be spotted from the safety of the boardwalk. The Menagerie
Covering at least 15 acres of the Park, the zoological section is too significant to overlook (or leave abandoned). These features include an aviary and several enclosures for large wildlife species. The highlights are a family of Jaguars and a cackle of Spotted Hyenas. Do note that the Park also serves as "retirement home" to various aged or unwanted specimens.UPDATE
